Do my customers have to download an app?
No. They get a link, open their card and save it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet — the apps already on their phone, where they keep their boarding passes, concert tickets and gym cards.
I already had paper punch cards. Do my customers lose their progress?
No. When a customer signs up, you can credit the stamps from their old card. Most businesses run a 2-3 week "migration campaign" to move their regulars over.
Do I need good internet to stamp?
Your phone’s data plan is enough. The stamp registers in seconds; no dedicated wifi, no special equipment.
What happens to my customers if I ever stop using PunchyPass?

Does it work across multiple locations?

What kind of messages can I send?

How secure is it? Can someone stamp their own card?
No. Every stamp is signed by your business account from the scanner — a customer can’t stamp from their own phone because their phone doesn’t carry that signature. They also can’t get stamped twice on the same day at the same location: the system blocks it automatically.
What if my customers aren’t tech-savvy?
They don’t have to be. They receive the card like anything else they already keep in their Wallet. They pull it up, show it, you stamp it. The same gesture as the paper card — without ever losing the paper card.
